MERRY CHRISTMAS!

hehe... haven't been blogging for a record number of time...
it's because there's really nothing much to blog about right now in my life.
it's just hectic. and by hectic, i mean really hectic.
my family caught the 'spring cleaning' bug. and so off we went to scrub the floors
then after scrubbing the living room, i scrubbed my room and packed all my bags properly.
they were in a mess. after cleaning my room, it looks sooo clean that i don't wanna step out of it.
LOL.. you can imagine how clean it was compared to its previous look.

then, arounf the same time, my darling's mum went to japan.
HOKKAIDO MAN! i also wanna go... it's snowing and the snow is almost knee high!
it's like in the middle of your ankle and your knee. imagine how high that is.
darling and his brothers miss their mummy. i know darling misses his mum a lot
cuz every night when they talk on the phone, darling would be very happy and excited.
well to the extent that i feel that i don't exist. but it's ok. if it was me, i'd probably do the same.

there. the pictures i took with my new phone.
some look really nice but some (i feel) really looks bad cuz of the quality.
and it's supposed to be a 2 megapixels camera. it's so different from my darling's ex N70.
it's also a 2 megapixel camera but the picture quality is damn nice i tell you.

i'm now at darling's house...
in fact i've been here for a long time le
his family members are all helping out to clean the house
(they are renovating the toilets and darling's room)
and i can only sit at the living room not helping at all...

Weee!! i finally changed my phone to my W660i!!
and it's very pretty!!
i'm a happy girl! my mum bought it for me yesterday
at plaza singapura..
we got our queue number and waited for so long that we even have enough time to shop at carrefourre (how do you spell that?)
and still have to wait for another 30 mins..
bleah it's damn long lor i tell you.
but anyway.. i got my new phone and it's in black!!
i actually wanted red, if not white...
BUT!! starhub only carry black and white..
AND white no stock...
so i got black but it's really nice!!
it brings out the gold details very nicely!!
i got home and started charging it.. (must charge 8hrs leh...)
then darling called me... then.....
i keep hearing buzzing sounds and he heard it too..
bloody hell... faulty phone.. so i went to change it today...
in the morning when i went to darling's house to collect my stuff,
I DROPPED MY PHONE!!!
I ALMOST CRIED I TELL YOU...
and the rest of the day i was worrying whether they'll accept the phone if they found out that i ill-treat it..
but it went on very smoothly!
the guy (the one at the starhub customer care counter lah) didn't check the phone for any scratches!!
i admit, the phone did have some lah...
so i got a new handset just like that...
the best thing is that i don't have to wait for a very long time^^

so now just to make sure, i bought a silicon case for my phone
you know the really ugly rubber thingy that people wrap their phones in..
i'm one of them.. i don't want my phone to get hurt again!
now the gold details kena hidden by the rubber..
hahahaha...


i also got new clothes today!!
a new pair of jeans, tops and shorts!!
all given to me by my previous maids...
see so good hor?
but they weren't that nice when they were here...
anyway i really wanna thank them for the prezzies!
i have a writtcomm test tomorrow and i don't know how to study...
there are too many slides and not all of them are relevant..
so i'll just skim through and pick up the more important stuff...
off to studying!!

you keep on complaining you don't have clothes to wear.
so when i went to giordano to buy some for you (actually it was for me but.. oh well.)
then you complained that you cannot wear and gave them back to me.
then JUST NOW!!
you asked me whether got any clothes for you to wear for work tomorrow..
i said all my clothes are in there (cupboard..) you see which 1 you can wear then you take lor.
and then... you took the SAME GIORDANO SHIRT and my jeans and my cardigan...
so if you're gonna wear all that i think i can say that...

i've just figured out that i really hate sharing my clothes with anybody in my family...

because, after they wear the clothes and after it's washed,

and the thing is, my mum is getting too lazy too do housework.

another thing which gets me really upset is that you never give me my pocket money on time.

because according to mel, we had some mistakes in the worksheet given out to us
however in the amendments, there isn't that particular topic we missed
well our teacher said im very disappointed in you.

FIVE MINUTE MANAGEMENT COURSE

Lesson 1:
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings.
The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs.
When she opens the door, there stands Bob , the next-door neighbor.
Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you $800 to drop that towel. "
After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob After a few seconds, Bob hands her $80 0 and leaves.
The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs.
When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, "Who was that?"
"It was Bob the next door neighbor," she replies.
"Great," the husband says, "did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?"

Moral of the story:
If you share critical information pertaining to credit and risk with your shareholders in time, you may be in a position to prevent avoidable exposure.

Lesson 2:
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp.
They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, "I'll give each of you just one wish."
"Me first! Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world."
Puff! She's gone.
"Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life."
Puff! He's gone.
"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."

Moral of the story:
Always let your boss have the first say.

Lesson 3
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.
A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing?"
The eagle answered: "Sure, why not."
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, yo u must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 4
A turkey was chatting with a bull.
"I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy."
"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull.
They're packed with nutrients."
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.
Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:
Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there..

Lesson 5
A little bird was flying south for the Winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.
While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.
The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

Weee!! i love birthdays!! and i celebrated 2 birthdays today!
one is his father which falls on Oct 23
the other is uncle chan which falls on Oct 22
since both have to work, both families decided to celebrated today!!

my mum told me to come home early and buy cake for his b-dae
after that, i went to his house and his mum told me to stay for dinner as they are celebrating his father's b-dae
WOOO!! ate 2 yummy cakes today...
Coincidently, both were chocolate!!!
uncle chan's cake was bought from Polar puffs and cakes
its chocolate cream felt like jelly.. you know the type that can be found in pandan cakes..
his dad's cake was bought from Angie's the choice..
of course it's an ice-cream cake... it has chocolate ice cream in the middle...
YUM!!

i am so gonna grow fat... will post pictures up once they are ready...
by the way, i also bought some cream puffs.. but i left them at his house...
damn.. now i can't eat them...

another thing that happened today is that i turned from blonde to brunnette in an hour!!
ok maybe not exactly blonde and brunnette...
but i had brownish-golden hair previously..
now i have brownish-red hair! and i like it alot...
it's my first time DIY...
the very first time i dyed my hair was before chi new year this year
and it was done in a salon -->not exactly a salon but actually a home-salon...
hehe so i was pretty scared that it will turn out un-even...
but it came out well!!
yay!! he dyed the same colour as me.. but his looks darker because his hair was originally black..
mine looks brighter! yes!! love my hair... muahahahaha


fixed my broken heel too!! will be able to wear it to school tomorrow!!
hahahaha a lot af hapy things happened recently
maybe it's cuz of my "red hair"... it brought me luck!!

first day of school

yay! been through the first day of sch!
nothing much happened cuz it was raining the whole day..
bleah.. it was freaking cold in the LT -->lecture theater
wore 2 jackets and i'm still freezing.. LOL
met our new lecturers..

BH --> social psychology

i kinda forgot his name so i'll put his initials..
he say it's ok de... hahaha

ate terriyaki chicken rice for lunch..
bought a new laptop cover/bag
my previous 1 is really thin and it's bigger than my macbook
so i bought a new 1 from np co-op lifestyle (i don't know which way it is..LOL)
it cost me a friggin $35 for a mac sleeve (as it is called)
it looks really cute.. and dar bought a new 1 too!!
his previous cover had a broken zip...
his was more expensive --> $39 but it's obviously bigger than mine
personally though i think mine looks the best!!
it's black with mickey-mouse-like prints.. KAWAII!!!

hmm... more about my lectures..
saw 2 friggin large cockroaches right at the beginning of lecture!!
urgh!! we --> me esther and melody asked the guys to go kill it
but they didn't care..
so esther got frustrated and so she took off her slipper and killed the damn thing

last day of holiday

Woo!! it's the last day of the holiday.
tomorrow starts a new day at school, a new semester!
been looking forward to it all holiday but now, i kinda don't feel like going.
i' m too tired and lazy.

Just came back from karaoke-ing with darling and his mum and youngest brother.
had lotsa fun! we actually intended to go to k-box at lot 1
but we changed our mind because apparently, Bukit Batok CSC offers a cheaper alternative!
so we went there instead!
the songs inside were not as new as those in k-box but we still had fun
i don't listen to the latest songs anyway.
so we all sang the 'classics'!

i'm really lazy to continue blogging..

i've been called a bitch since sec school years..

dar's first day at work

hehe.. today is a very special day.
dardar went to work...
it's at tanjong pagar..
pretty far from here but it only takes 45 mins to get there by MRT..
well at first, someone suggested taking the bus
i think that guy's gotta be outta his mind..
it will take friggin long right??
but then, we students have the privilege of the...-drumroll-
BUS CONCESSION!!
so well... it'a pretty sensible to use it fully right?
besides it costs us a friggin $52 a month
it's like twice that of a JC student... and to think we are of the same age...
BLEAH!!

oh well.. back to his job..
he got a job at Smartvoice company
it's a telemarketer company.. you know..
the ones where salespeople keep bugging you to buy products..
except it's not face to face but through the telly...
so ya... he has to sell credit cards for ABN-AMRO..

his first day and he's late..lol...
all because of waiting for a friend..

yay!! it's officially the holidays now!!
and i'm goig for a job interview tomorrow..
hmm.. nervous.. haven't really been to a real job interview..
my first job is introduced to me by my ah yi..
it's her best friend's "company" she's a creative director and i'm her
"personal assistant"
so didn't have to go through interview..
2nd job is sheng introduced to me..
only spent one day as the job is really boring..
and i feel that it is against my morals...
we had to sell charity tickets.. seriously though..
i don't know for who the tickets are for.. and i mean
you keep selling the same thing but you don't know whether the right people
are getting the money.. soo i quit..
then i worked at my cousin's cafe during the world cup season..
all night shifts!!
that was fun~~ though it was tiring.. met new friends whom i don't contact now..

then i was NTUC Fairprice...
though i had an interview, it wasn't really much..
all i had to do was to fill in a questionaire and answer
some questions testing my mental sums (which i totally suck in)
anyway it went smoothly and i worked there for hmm....
3 to 4 months?
i forgot le lah.. but i had a lot of fun!!

i also worked in westmall before..
as a SANTARINA!!

The story centers on the life of Hideki Motosuwa, a repeat student (rōnin) attempting to qualify for university by studying at the Seki prep school in Tokyo. Besides a girlfriend, the other thing he dreams of having is a Persocom. A Persocom is an android used as a personal computer; however, they are expensive, and Hideki has no money.

On his way home one evening, he stumbles across a Persocom in the form of a beautiful girl with long blonde hair lying against a pile of trash bags. He first thinks this to be a murder but, realizing she was a Persocom, he carries her home. Upon turning it on, she instantly regards Hideki with adoration. The only word she seems capable of saying is "chi", and thus he names her Chi. Although Chi does not appear to have any programs installed in her, Hideki's friends surmise that she must have some sort of learning program installed, judging from her behaviour.

A major part of the plot involves Hideki attempting to teach teach Chi words, concepts, and appropriate behaviours, in between cram school and work. At the same time, Chi seems to be developing feelings for Hideki, at an emotional depth, which Persocoms are not supposed to possess, and Hideki struggles with his feelings for her. The series explores the nature of Persocoms, human interactions with them, and the nature of love. All sorts of characters and their Persocoms are introduced, some of them loving Persocoms, and some of them considering them only as tools, and some of them hating them altogether.

In the later part of the story, the characters start to explore Chi's mysterious past. Chi discovers a series of picture books of mysterious origin, that seem to awaken something deep inside of her. The book inspires her to find the "person just for me", a euphemism used in the series to refer to one's true love. Chi is also a very special Persocom, and towards the end of the story, together with Hideki, discovers her true identity, as well as what lies within her.

I've chanced upon a kindergarden girl with her mum at the interchange today
girl was talking to mum in chinese
while mum was talking to other mum in english
girl: mummy you give birth to more babies leh...
eat a lot a lot then tummy grow big big
then got baby liao..
mum: blah blah blah (mummy talk ^^)

i was pretty amused at the little girl
and she reminds me of my younger self
don't we all feel that being young and naive and innocent is great?
when we were younger, we don't usually get 'the silent treatment'
from parents, instead we just kena scolding
that is good, i mean at least you know where went wrong and will make
a mental note not to repeat it.
Now however, we either get silent treatment or we just hear our parents giving
us pep talks and everything.. sometimes getting naggy..

another thing is schooling..
when we were younger, school always seem fun
and we would all be looking forward to go to school! (ok maybe not all but most..)
we would go to school to play with friends
and play with teachers and even homework is all very simple
and easy and fun!
oh how i miss my kindergarden school times..
Now as we grow older we are 'forced' to study
we have compulsory maths, science, social studies and blah blah blah
the list goes on... then if someday we decide we don't like
school, we realise that getting out of schol is not easy
there are many things we have to consider our parents feelings
then we have to think of our siblings as we sometimes need to show
good example
then our relatives will come

he kena food poisoning as stated by the locum in 24hr clinic..
he ate some unclean food and begun feeling nauseus...
went over to his house for the past 2 days to look after him..
though i didn't do much... at least i was there to offer him comfort when
he needed it.. he was in so much pain that even talking was difficult..
luckily he's ok in time for his 18th birthday..

the day when he reach the legal age for drinking!!
it's coming in 7 mins time!!
omg!! he's becoming so old liao!! muahaha
anyway he's gonna take his driving lesson soon
i think it's in september... wee!! i'm gonna have a chauffeur
for my boyfriend!! yay!! hahaha just joking lah..
although it's quite true cuz he can rive me to sch every day liao!!
but even if he has his licence, HE DOESN'T HAVE A CAR!!
what's the use??
nevermind.. i guess i'll have to wait a longer time for my own front seat!!

went to my cousin's house today, had a mini rehearsal for
a performance coming up in august..
met my partner for the first time...
well darling was there with me.. he was well enough to come..
thank heavens! thank god he's fine...
if not he'll have a really bad birthday tomorrow...
we're gonna have steamboat at his house
original plan was to go to Hot Stones to eat
but the credit card promotion ended liao..
sigh so we'll just have to settle for steamboat...
but it's good enough cuz his mum's cooking is great!!
hahah....

i went for cando today..it's pretty lame
it's a campaign where we have to come up with new or
existing products according to a category..
my group have to do something about housing.
came up with some lame ideas and went around the convention centre
to pitch to judges -->student and lecturers..
we earned a total of $130 after 45 mins.
not bad! we are the 3rd team in our category..
so we still have to improve our products lah
so there's another day where we have to go down again...


anyway after the campaign, i went to his house to eat
his mummy cooked bak kut teh-->some soup cooked with pork ribs and herbs.
tasted nice but it's different from what i've always drunk.
she said it's JB's style.. different from singapore version..
soo should be considered nice lor... his aunts say nice..
hahaha...
came home and my sister saw this video on youtube..
